Yesterday, the drive cages arrived.

Today, the 2x (new-to-me 12TB HDD) arrived. They are already mounted in their drive cages and installed.

Let’s look at them. This post is similar to Testing two 12TB drives to a Dell R730 on FreeBSD. If you want to know most about the tests, see that.

And the other one. Power on hours is 17.

On a server-centered Discord channel, I saw: “On Seagate drives, you have to ignore the Seek_Error_Rate. I only look at 5, 9, 10, 194, 197, 199.”

The Seek_Error_Rate is 7176693, or 7170202, depending on which output you want.
