Ever wondered if software RAID is faster/slower than hardware RAID? I’m going to find out.
It’s not complete, and I just thought of an extension, but What RAID-1 setup should I use for FreeBSD 6.0? is a work in progress.
The extention I mention is to compare i386 against amd64. I may do that if I have time.
