Gone is the truck

The truck is gone.

So is the trailer.

In it’s place is a storage locker, filled with all my earthly belongings. I have a few things in my hotel room, but the bikes, the computers, the bed, etc, are all across the road in a lock-up. Jan Wieck helped me unload the truck. That took about 90 minutes. Then we returned the truck to Penske, and had lunch at Starbucks.

I spent much of the afternoon looking at rental listings. I found one area about 5 miles from the office. Bonus: the route looks like it has good roads for cycling. The area has as least two properties for rent. One is available now. The other in about three weeks. I’ll head over there tomorrow and have a look around in the daylight and see if there are any others for rent. That is, if the weather is not filled with snow and sleet as forecast. I can drive in that stuff, but I’m not sure the locals can.
