In the original post, Joe Barbish asks for a committer to commit his patch and asks for feedback.
Eygene Ryabinkin provides some feedback.
All I can say is: when you ask for advice, and get it, don’t be an ass. Take the criticism gracefully.

It seems the PR in question is progressing, but not with the help of the original poster, but others who have stepped in.
