This is the host I’ve been talking about. Adding this entry to /boot/loader.conf will turn off MFI and enable MRSAS instead. hw.mfi.mrsas_enable=”1″ Then you’ll see expected device names for drives, such as da0 instead of mfisyspd0. EDIT: I’m updating this post with new information, I’m missing some photos – they are on my other laptop… EDIT: If you get stuck with older firmware which cannot use existing DELL infrastructure, give https://updateyodell.net a try.
