Moved in!

I’m now moved in. 10 days already. Of the things from my previous post that I needed to do, the following remain: apply for a PA drivers license register the car and get PA tags I got to IKEA today and managed to buy stuff that I’ve need since my relocation in May. Lack of income, and a nearby IKEA stopped me from purchasing much of anything. I was able to pick up

No longer homeless

I am no longer homeless. I found a place to move into. But not until the weekend before Christmas. It looks like I’ll be able to move in on the 23rd. That’s a Sunday. At least I no longer have to search for a place. By the time this is over, I’ll have spent 32 consecutive nights in four different motels/hotels. Figure that one out in your budget. Then we returned the truck to Penske, and had lunch at Starbucks. I spent much

Welcome to North Carolina

I’m at the Howard Johnson in Battleboro, NC. The place has seen better days. The room is $40 a night for a king size bed. It’s just gone 11:31 PM. I plan to be up at 6am. There is about 7.5 hours of driving left to do. I’m not sure if I’ll do the Washington Beltway or go far above and beyond it. We’ll see. I did find a Starbucks via the GPS.

Leaving Tampa

It is 6:48 am on Wednesday morning. John and Ruth had a golf game yesterday at 8:10 am. After they returned, we went to breakfast with at Tony’s Diner. I spent the afternoon at Busch Gardens, riding roller coasters. John loaned me his car to drive there. It was much better than either unloading my car from the trailer or driving the truck and trailer cross-town. :) That evening, we headed to Cici’s
